Every book on ebookhunt.online opens inside a 3D page-turning reader built to imitate an actual paperback, not a PDF viewer wearing a book-shaped skin. Pages lift and turn with real motion and a soft paper sound. You can switch on ambient background audio while you read: ocean waves, rain, piano, a distant thunderstorm, whichever suits the chapter you’re on.
Dark mode is one tap away for reading after midnight, and text zoom adjusts line by line if small print gives you trouble. A live reading timer tracks your session, and bookmarking picks up exactly where you left off, even if you come back three days later.
None of this sits behind a subscription, and you don’t need an account to start reading. You open a book, and you read it.
ebookhunt.online started as a side project attached to a bigger one. I’d already spent years building WordPress tools and themes for other people’s sites, and I’d already spent years writing manuscripts that sat on a laptop instead of in front of readers. At some point those two piles of work turned into one obvious project I hadn’t built yet: a place where the books I wrote, and eventually books other people wrote, could sit in front of readers for free, in a reader that didn’t feel like an afterthought.
The 3D page-turn reader took longer to build than any single book I’ve written. Early versions flipped pages instantly, which felt wrong the moment I tested it myself late one night with Lantern of the Last Mountain open on my screen. A page turn should take a beat. It should sound like something. That detail is the reason the reader works the way it does now, and it’s the same reader every book on this site uses today.

Running ebookhunt.online costs money the same way any website does: hosting, storage for every page-flip file, the tools that keep the reader working across phones and laptops, and the hours it takes to add new books and keep old ones working. None of that shows up on the page where you’re reading a book. It’s still real, and it’s the reason a library like this can quietly disappear if nobody keeps the lights on.
